BANDO DI GARA PER OPERA D'ARTE - ITALIA
Scadenza: 13 Febbraio 2015
Bando di concorso per la realizzazione di opere d'arte per l'abbellimento della nuova scuola materna e asilo nudo in area Felti (TN) .
L’importo disponibile per sostenere la spesa della realizzazione delle opere ammonta ad Euro 39.207,90 onnicomprensivi, suddiviso egualmente fra le due opere artistiche destinate alle due aree.
Per entrambi gli spazi è lasciata sostanzialmente libera scelta riguardo al tema, alle tecniche esecutive ed ai materiali.

RESIDENCIA DE ARTISTA - ARGENTINA

mínimo _ programa de residencias 2015 es organizado por CENTRO RURAL DE ARTE y se
desarrolla en Cazón, Saladillo, Argentina. La convocatoria es pública, abierta, multidisciplinaria y por postulación de proyecto. Las propuestas pueden ser creadas para la ocasión o investigaciones en proceso.
El programa se propone ser el medio para el desarrollo de investigaciones mínimas. Mínimos procedimientos, el despliegue de las mínimas herramientas, mínimos materiales, la mínima dosis de acciones. Experimentos que transcurran casi imperceptibles.
Destinatarios
Proyectos individuales o colectivos. La convocatoria está abierta a personas que trabajan con distintos lenguajes y campos de conocimiento: teatro, danza, performance, artes visuales, cine, fotografía, literatura, música, investigaciones

MARK TANNER SCULPTURE AWARD

Applications are invited for the Mark Tanner Sculpture Award 2015--‐16
The Mark Tanner Sculpture Award is unique in its combination of offering both financial support towards the production of new work and a solo exhibition to an exceptional emerging sculptor. We seek to reward outstanding and innovative practice in the field of sculpture and are particularly interested in work that demonstrates a commitment to process and materials.
There Is no age limit, applicants will be judged on the quality of their work, plus the ability of the award to make beneficial impact on their practice and future development.
The Financial award to assist in the production of a new body of work is £8,000,
Made in 3 Payments over the course of the year, at the end of which there will be a solo exhibition at Standpoint Gallery. All Reasonable costs incurred for this exhibition will be met by Standpoint, Including publicity, transport and hospitality.

Le opere dei 3 artisti vincitori verranno comprate dalla fondazione al prezzo indicato dagli artisti stessi in fase di iscrizione.

Call for applications: Professorship in painting

The Academy of Fine Arts is part of the University of the Arts Helsinki and offers first-class instruction in Painting, Printmaking, Sculpture and Time and Space Arts. With a strong international outlook, it is also a pioneer in artistic research. The Academy has trained artists since 1848.
The Academy of Fine Arts invites applications for a professorship in painting to be filled for a fixed term from 1 August 2015 to 31 July 2020. The reasons for offering the position on a fixed-term basis include the nature of the artistic teaching duties in question and the changing needs of artistic activity and teaching.
The purpose of instruction in painting is to examine the significance of today's painting as part of the discourses of contemporary art. Students explore the development of the medium in relation to its tradition, to different forms of expression and theories of contemporary art, as well as to cultural contexts in general.

In Western Philiosophy this coincides with the 'epistemological turn' away from cosmology. Western civilization through the enlightenment and into the modern age has continued to place the human experience at the center of existence. Postmodernism, for example, has reveled in human subjectivity, almost to the point of denying all else.
Art Laboratory Berlin is seeking submissions and proposals predominantly for exhibitions, performances and workshops, but is also interested in cooperation with scholars and scientists for the production of a series of lectures, texts and a symposium.
