Jorg Van Daele started his sculpting education with sculptor Emiel Uyterhoeven in 1989. Since 2001 he’s been a professional sculptor.
Jorg participated in several symposia (listed below) worldwide symposia (Chili, Iran ,New-Zealand, Cyprus, Egypt, Spain, Austria,…). In 2012 he won first prize in sculpting at the international symposium (AADD) of Pöchlarn, Austria.In Valdivia Chili (2017)he won second prize of the jury . His artwork is spread all over the world, in privately owned and in public places (Canada ,Iran, Spain, Germany, Egypt, New-Zealand, Uzbekistan,…).
His artwork distinguishes itself by the way Jorg puts different structures in his work. Most people think the sculptures contain several stones but this is an illusion as it is actually made out of one single stone.
Although at first he made most of his work in Belgian bluestone (or ‘Petit Granit’), lately he also made sculptures in several kinds of marble, limestone, granite,….
In April 2016 he’ll open his own gallery: the New-Jorg Gallery, in which he will have exhibitions of the artwork of international artists along with his own. The N/J\G is located in Kalmthout near Antwerp in Belgium.

- Participation in the 2nd sculpturersymposium of the province of Antwerp (B)
(1990), red marble.
- Participation in the “6ième rencontres internationales de sculpture de Sprimont” (B) (1999). In Sprimont a monumental sculpture of 1.80m by 0.5m by 0.5m was created in stone (petit granit).
- Participation in the symposium in honour of 850 years town of Essen (B) (2009). Petit granit, 350cm x 45cm x 35cm.
- Winner of the Internationaal symposium of the city of Pöchlarn (Austria) (2012), blue stone.
- Participation in the international symposium of Ostraka festival, Sharm el-Sheikh (Egypt) (2013). Galala marble, size 180cm x 75cm x 70cm.
- Participation in the first Zeeland symposium, Noordwelle (NL) (2014). Blue stone, size 180cm x 25cm x 25cm.
- Participation of the 9th international sculpture symposium in Pöchlarn (Austria) (2014). Petit granit, size 175cm x 20cm x 15cm.
- Participation in the 2nd Ayia Napa symposium in Cyprus (2015). Limestone, size 540cm x 120cm x 120cm.
- Participation in the 1th Luz symposium Competa (Spain) (2015). White marble (Macael from Almeria), size 190cm x 25cm x 25cm.
- Participation in the 10th international sculpture symposium Pöchlarn (Austria) 2015 Wachauer Marble size 200 cm x 120cm x 30 cm
