SCULPTURE STONE SYMPOSIUM - NEPAL

An Academy of Arts, a Sculptors Association and The Park of the City (Nepal) in partnership with A.I.E.S.M. organize the First International Stone Sculpture Symposium Nepal. It will take place from 26 of November to 11 of December, 2012 in a city of Nepal.
The material is a local type of sandstone. The stone have to be chosen by the artists in some of the collections by the organiser. Any special desire, concerning to add of the materials artist should arrange and to be announced to the organisers in advance. The workplace is situated nearby the town, a small village. The artwork will be installed in the sculpture park of the City

The Grant is 1,000 usd for each participant who awarded at the end of the Symposium

25- November - Arrival of the artists, depart to the location
Welcome party/ briefing workshop
26 November - 11December - Workshop
9 - December - Sightseeing a National Park
11- December - Closing ceremony of the Symposium,
12-December - Departure of all artists.
