AIESM, International Association for Monumental Sculpture Events, promotes the sculpture and the sculptors at international level.

WOOD SCULPTURE SYMPOSIUM - ITALY

Various institutions are organizing from Monday July 23rd 2012 to Saturday July 28th 2012, the 11ª edition of a wood sculpture symposium. The contest will take place in 4 municipalities located in the North of Italy. To the 24 selected artists they will be added, as the last years, some local sculptors, maximum of 5.
The organization will offer a wood trunk (larice) available or the sculpting, height around 1,80 ms and diameter of around 0,45 ms. The organization offers board and lodging to the selected sculptors. Artists coming from over 500 kms of distance will be refunded for a maximum of Euro 200,00.
Prizes:
1°: Prize of value equal to Euro 1.200,00
2°: Prize of value equal to Euro 900,00
3°: Prize of value equal to Euro 700,00.
The works will participate also to the assignment by the public of a prize of value equal to Euro
300,00
The winning works will remain ownership of the organization.
