SCULPTURE FOR BARRACKS OF THE POLICEMEN – ITALY

A Municipality in Italy, announces a competition for the realization of an artistic work to enrich and to qualify the new barracks of the policemen. The gross amount for the realization of the art work is of Euro 35.483,85. The art work has to be a sculpture of dimensions suitable to the space in relationship with the present architecture and the surrounding spaces.
The theme is substantially free, even if the artist will have to consider that the work has to be installed in a barracks of the policemen. The space for the installation of the art work is individualized with precision in the plan attached to the integral rules of the competition. The competitors will have to guarantee the maximum duration and resistance of the work that will be installed at open air. The jury can decide to offer a prize of Euro 1.000,00 to maximum two artists judged deserving, as refund for their expenses in the preparation of the project. Italian artists or foreigners that elect domicile in Italy can participate to the contest.
