SCULPTURE EXHIBITION AND AWARD – AUSTRALIA

This 2011 exhibition will build on the successes of the two previous exhibitions by expanding Lorne Sculpture into several new components to better reflect the diversity of contemporary sculptural practice. Over 90 artists from Australia and internationally who work within the contemporary sculptural realm will be included. These projects will include a mix of object based, representational, installation, site specific, ephemeral, time based media, sound, light, kinetic, video projections, happenings and performance. The curator is looking for artists whose practice occupy or utilises the 3D, achieving high levels of artistic integrity, quality and innovation to be exhibited within the context of the Lorne seaside environment.
AWARDS:
- Sculpture Trail Award:$20,000 cash plus a one month residency, accommodation and exhibition package - Sculpturscape Award: $10,000
- Small Indoor Sculpture Award: $ 5,000
- Video Projections Award: $5,000
- Career Development Award. Solo exhibition package
- Peoples Choice Award: $5,000
