CALL FOR EXHIBITION AND SCULPTURE SYMPOSIUM – GERMANY

A german institution organizes an annual international exhibition of visual arts that in 2011 will take place from the 04th of June to the 2nd of November. The art exhibited is selected by a jury and features all visual art media. The exhibition in summer 2010 displayed the work of 245 artists from 55 countries, selected from 1400 applications from 81 countries.
A catalogue in DIN A4 format, in German/English, is produced for the exhibition with one page per artist.
The artists receive a free copy of the catalogue.
A sculpture symposium will be held in May 2011 in the run up to Nord Art. Approximately 10 artists are invited to attend the symposium. Large works for the exhibition are produced at the symposium. The participants at the symposium enjoy free materials, a workplace, and accommodation at the exhibition site itself. The work created remains the property of the artist and will be exhibited for at least 2 years – with the exception of works which are sold.
