SCULPTURE COMPETITION IN THE WOOD - ITALY

An Italian organization in collaboration with an Italian municipality and its department of culture and tourism organize a sculpture competition in the wood from 22th to 30th June July 2019.

The theme for the 2019 edition is: "UP"
The sculptures will be distributed along a path in the woods occupying different levels: grass, logs, branches.
Artists can choose to participate in two different sections by choosing up to two. In any case the artist will be selected for the realization of a single work:
1. Section: construction of a work-installation to be carried out with material found on the spot, of natural origin, in a particular place in the woods prepared by the organization.
2. Section: execution of a sculpture vertically oriented from a trunk of linden of about 2 meters high and with a diameter ranging from 45 to 50 cm repositioned in the ground.

Accommodation
Only for artists who come from distant places at least 50 kilometers from the venue of the event is planned accommodation in the area.
For all participating artists is guaranteed catering for the entire duration of the event.
