AIESM, International Association for Monumental Sculpture Events, promotes the sculpture and the sculptors at international level.

CALL FOR ARTISTS – SLOVENIA

Deadline: 20th March 2019

An international sculpture symposium will be held in Slovenia from 24 June to 11 July 2019.

• Theme: communication / ecology
• Materials: wood, terracotta and iron, iron
• Estimated project size: no more than 270 cm on any axis
• Eligibility: all artists can participate regardless of education, age, gender or otherwise.
• The official language of the symposium is English.

• 5 artists will be selected by the symposium's jury according to the following material preference: 2 artists who use earthenware and iron, 2 artists who use wood, 1 artist who uses iron.
• The artist will be provided with tools and materials for the execution of the project.

The organizing committee will provide the following for each participating artist:
• An honorarium for production rights and author for an amount of 1300 euros.
• Accommodation in a single room apartment.
• Food / 3 meals a day, water and soft drinks.
• Transfer to and from the airport.
