AIESM, International Association for Monumental Sculpture Events, promotes the sculpture and the sculptors at international level.

INTERNATIONAL SCULTPURE SYMPOSIUM - TURKEY

Call for entry for an International Stone Sculpture Colony in Turkey. The event will take place from May to June 2018.
Theme of the colony: Each year a different theme is determined for the colony. In the year 2018 the theme of the Stone Sculpture Colony is describing the city hosting the event and creating eligible sculptures to be
used in town squares by using functional, artistic motifs, architectural forms..
10 artists will be selected to participate the colony, as national as international.
One-day workshop activities with children.
The medium of the sculpture will be “Marble” or “Travertine”. Material will be provided by the organization. If required, the organization will set up the sculptures, provide the basement and also supply additional material.
Food and accommodation, such as travel expenses, will be provided by the organization. Accommodation, food and travel expenses for extra persons will be charged to the artist.
Awards:
3000 U.S. dollar will be paid as a royalty fee to participants at the finalization of the work.
