INTERNATIONAL SCULPTURE SYMPOSIUM – TURKEY

A Fine Arts University and a Turkish city announce an International Sculpture Symposium, that will be held from 1st to 30th November 2016 in Turkey.
The aim of the symposium is to contribute to the city with quality works of art.

A total of 10 artists (5 Turkish residents, 5 Non-Turkish residents) will be participating in the symposium. Only applications from European or Mediterranean Countries will be accepted. In addition, artists who have already participated in previous editions over the past five years, will not be accepted.

The material to be used is Cedar wood approximately 300cm. height and 50cm diameter sized.The theme of the Symposium is “Peace”.

Travel expenses will also be reimbursed, but only for participant artists as follows: economy class plane tickets and transfer from the airport.
To each artist who has completed his work in the given time and place will be given a total of 2000€ for equipment expenses and copyright (1000€ of the total amount will be paid in the first week of the symposium)
