INTERNATIONAL SCULPTURE SYMPOSIUM - TURKEY

An International Stone Sculpture Symposium” will be held in Turkey between the dates 19 Sept.-14 Oct. 2016.

The material of the symposium is Natural Stone. Each artist will be given 2.5m3 of the material.

The theme of the symposium is designated as “Peace”. Abstract figurative sculptures will be made according to the theme.

7 (seven) Artists will be selected among the applications by a symposium selection committee set up by the Management and Curator, based on the artists' application files. A participation certificate will be given to the artists at the end of the symposium. The number of the participants can change, if the symposium committee consider it appropriate.

The transportation, accommodation, breakfast, lunch, and dinner of the symposium artists will be arranged and provided by the organizer.

Each selected artist will be paid $ 3000.
