CALL FOR ARTIST –USA

An American Sculpture Organization showcases current works by established and up and coming California sculptors. The exhibitions’s goal is to provide a platform for a wide variety of concepts and materials. Open to artists residing in California, artwork must have been completed within the past two years and may not have been shown previously. An entry which differs from the submitted image or is unfit for display when delivered will be excluded. Artwork must fit through 84 x 66-inch main doorway and be no taller than 9 feet. Wall mounted artwork cannot exceed 25 pounds. If the artwork requires assembly after delivery, artists will be required to contact the organization for arrangements. The organization will provide pedestals. Artists must supply any special display equipment, if needed.

Awards
Cash awards. First Place $1,000; Second Place $500; Third Place $250
Sales
Sales are encouraged but artwork need not be for sale. The organization will retain 50% commission on any works sold. Price of work on entry form must include commission and cannot be changed after acceptance. All artwork will remain in the exhibition through November 15, 2015.
Insurance & Liability
Artwork will be insured by the organization but not in transit. The organization will not assume responsibility for work improperly presented, in poor condition, or poorly packaged.
Nonrefundable Entry Fee
There is a (nonrefundable) $40 entry fee for the first entry. Each additional entry is $10. Maximum of three entries. Entry by CD only. CDs will not be returned. Make check payable to the organization.
