RESIDENCY PROGRAM 2015 – USADeadline: March 1, 2015 Open call for an artist residency in Usa. The aim is to offer time and space for craft artists to focus on their creative work and interact with the public. The program supports emerging, mid-career, and established artists working in all craft media, including but not limited to clay, fiber, glass, metal, wood and mixed media. A juried selection is held annually to award five artists a three-to-twelve month residency. Artists selected for the program receive a 200-square-foot studio, a monthly stipend and a small, quarterly housing/materials allowance. The studios are equipped with sinks, telephones and wireless Internet access. Artists are selected based on the quality of their creative work, ability to interact with the public, career direction, and program diversity.
