OPEN CALL FOR A SCULPTURE EVENT – DENMARK

A Danese foundation organizes an international sculpture competition in collaboration with the city hosting the event and a local Museum of Modern Art.
Artists are invited to submit entries by 19 May, 2014 for pre-selection. The art competition will take place the coastal walk from 5 June  to 5 July, 2015.

Key Information:
- 1 Prize of DKK 50,000 (EUR 6,700)
- 2 Prize of DKK 25,000 (EUR 3,300)
- 3 Prize of DKK 25,000 (EUR 3,300)
- Several prizes provided by event’s sponsors and partners
- Subsidies and assistance to all artists concerning freight, installation and de-installation
- An estimated 500,000 visitors in 4 weeks
- Strong sculpture sales at the previous exhibitions in 2009, 2011 and 2013.
- Approx.60 sculptures by artists from all over the world

All types, forms and sizes of sculpture in all materials are eligible for entry to the competition
