AIESM, International Association for Monumental Sculpture Events, promotes the sculpture and the sculptors at international level.

INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM OF SCULPTORS - SLOVENIA

An Art museum of a Slovenian City organizes an international symposium of wood sculpture. The symposium will take place in the City from 01 to 30 July 2013

Material: mainly wood oak, 3 m3 in one or more pieces, ø from 50 – 100 cm

Conditions:
Experience in wood sculpturing and independent work in open space. Organizer assures the basic tools: chain saws, small tools and machines for material transport, help with harder works, electrical (junction) connection, plinth for setting up the sculpture, help with setting up the sculpture, protection, impregnation of the sculpture, accident insurance for the time duration of the Symposium.

Accommodation - Food
The organizer will pay to sculptorers for accommodation and food during the symposium

The honorarium is 2.000 eu (2,590 usd) for each sculptor

The selected author will be informed about the participation until 23.04.2013.

Participants cover their travel cost themselves.
