4 INTERNATIONAL WOODEN SCULPTORS SYMPOSIUM – ITALY

The Tourist Association of a Valley in North Italy is organizing, in cooperation with a crib museum, the 4th international wooden sculptor symposium: The Symposium’ll take place from the 8th July to 14th July 2013.
10 participants from all over the world pick up different ideas on the subject “Rest trough movement”.

Each participant will receive food and a contribution of 500 eu (670USD)
A jury of experts’ll vote the best of the show. For the winners great prizes are offered

1. Prize: 600 eu (800usd)
2. Prize: 450 eu (600usd)
3. Prize: 300 eu (400 usd)
4. Prize: 150 eu (200usd)
5. Prize: 100 eu (130 usd)

Sculptures
Each sculptor will receive a rough bole from a larch, max. 2,20 m length and 0,60 m diameter as a whole bole or divided in half. The wood could be delivering also in pieces. The object has
to be created at mimimun by 50 % from the available wood. A second material could be used (purchase
and costs are for the account to the sculptor).

Equipment
The following auxiliary means will be offered to the participants:
1. Protection from rain and sun (tent)
2. Current supply (220 Volt)
