May 2009 - Portugal

Arlindo Arez, AIESM Manager for Portugal, in collaboration with the cultural association Cuneo Sularte, organized the VI International sculpture symposium in Portimao 2009, Portugal.
The symposium took place from the 25th of May to the 7th of June 2009.
7 artists have been invited to participate to this event to carve blocks of Siento, local stone similar to the granite. Here following are the invited artists: Agnesa Petrova - Bulgaria, Christos Lanitis - Cyprus, Xavier Gonzalez - France, Craig Medson - Australia, Ján Sicko - Slovakia, Paulo Quaresma - Portugal, Arlindo Arez - Portugal.
