ARTWORKS FOR THE COAST GUARD- ITALY

The local center of an Department calls the artists, as single or in team, for a national contest for the realization of the following artworks:
artworks and proposal for artistic furniture to situate inside the new center of the guesthouse and lodgings of the Capitaneria.

The contest is open to the Italian artists and foreigners, residents in Italy.

A) sculptural artwork for the plinth brings flags with subject that remember the Coast Guard.
The budget for the artwork: 30.000eu/38,500usd. The budget covers any kind of costs or expenses about project, realization transport or installation, even service light if it is foreseen in the project by the artist
Requirements of the work:
Material: The material is stone or marble of Carrara (not inferior to the type "C")
Size: Dimensions are non-inferior to cm 300 (width) X cm 80 (height) X 100 cm (depth) Location: The Artwork will be installed outside in front of the new center of the Guesthouse.

B) Project of an artistic-architectural furniture with subject that remember the body of the Coast Guard.
The budget is 40.000eu/51,300usd. The budget covers any kind of costs or expenses about project, realization transport or installation, even service light if it is foreseen in the project by the artist.
Material: Stone and /or steel
The artwork will be destined to complete the enclosure and the gates of the center of the Guesthouse along the street.

C) Work sculptural type low-relief or high relief with subject that remember the Coast Guard.
The budget 20.000eu/ 25,700usd The budget covers any kind of costs or expenses about project, realization transport or installation, even service light if it is foreseen in the project by the artist.
Requirements of the work:
Material: stone or marble of Carrara (not inferior to the type "C")
Size: The dimension are non-inferior to cm 250 (width) X cm 150 (height) X 15 cm (depth),
The artwork will be all place in the great classroom of the new center of the Guesthouse
Term for the delivery of the artworks: within five months from the date of announcement of the winner.

Every artist single or team, can participate in the contest for one or more proposal, but just one for every work
