The present contest of ideas has for objective the selection of an unpublished and original proposal that represents the figure of a Spanish Saint, a person that devoted his life to help the others as healer. The monument will have to reflect the goodness, modesty and peace that the Saint transmitted to the thousand of people that turned him to him for one help of his
All artists can submit at this contest without limitation of age, residence or nationality.
the proposals can be individual or collective for the teams must be names a representative.
The proposals will have to be unpublished and the participants can introduce how much proposed desires
For the project of the work, will have to consider that the statue will be installed in outdoor and it will be found exposed to the weather, that maintenance won't be plain except sporadic cleaning. The material is a vandal proof. Various materials can be mix together.
The sculpture will have to be transportable.
It will be valued positively the inclusion of native materials of the place.
Dimensions:
The sculpture will have to not exceed a cube of 1,60 meters side, neither taller neither deeper and wider than 1,60 meters. The sculpture must possibly be installed on a pedestal of stone of 50 cms. of height that won't be brought by the artist. Despite, proposals will be admitted that brings included the pedestal or platform, but that they don't exceed him they add of both the dimensions.
Prize:
The winner will receive 7,500 eu (9,700 usd). The budget includes the realization of the artwork, development of the project, transport, materials and definitive installation on the pedestal in the location
