WOOD AND STONE SCULPTURE CONTEST - ITALY

The IV Festival of homeopathy, Cilento, Italy promotes, together with the association Mojoca, a wood and stone sculpture contest. From July 30 the participating artists will realize their works during a Symposium-laboratory that will be held at the Homeopathy Center of the Cilento. The job will continue in Moio della Civitella in the days of the Festival Mojoca, where the works will also be exhibited on the 3rd and 4th of August 2012. The organization offers food and lodging for the competitors. To realize theis work the participants can choose between blocks of available local stone or wood . The Style and the technique will be free. The works produced during the contest remain ownership of the organizing committee that will take care of the presentation and the sale in various art galleries. From the possible sale of the work the artist will receive a remuneration equal to the 50% of the sale price. The winner will receive as prize one personal exhibition at the galleries partners of the contest. 8 artist will be selected to participate.
