SCULPTURE SYMPOSIUM - SPAIN

Any artist in individual form or in group can participate to this Symposium of Sculpture and artistic interventions in public spaces. Every artist or group of artists, will introduce only one project of sculpture or artistic intervention in public space, original, unpublished, and that has not been introduced in any other contest. The projects, can have a character of ephemeral or permanent intervention. The organization suggests as themes; the nature, the story and the puppets, the music, the carnival. The participating artists can freely propose also his/her own themes. The technique will be free, although in the projects of permanent character, it will be guaranteed the resistance to the bad weather of the materials. The artists of the selected projects, will begin their execution on September 10th and they will finish on the 15th of the same month.
The jury will decide on the assignment of the followings prizes:
First prize of Euro 5000
Second prize 1300 Euro
Third prize 1000 Euro
Free of tax. The prizes can be also declared deserts.
The winning work will remain ownership of the organizer.
The organization offers food, lodging and insurance to the participating artists.
For the realization of sculptures of permanent character, the organization, will furnish the necessary technical equipment on the base to the sent project.
