SCULPTURE EVENT - ITALY

In this artistic event sculptors from all over the world realize works intended for the urban and landscape contexts of the small municipalities of Marche Region. The 13th edition will take place from 21st to 29th July 2012. The 13th edition will host 4 (four) sculptors. The Artistic Projects must include the obligatory use of sandstone and at least another kind of material chosen by the artist. The Organization provides each sculptor with a block of sandstone, the size of which will be indicated in the Artistic Project (max. 1,5 cubic metre). With regard to the other material/s included in the project, the sculptor can have an extra budget
of Euro 600,00 (VAT‐inclusive) including purchase, transport, working and treatment charges. The sculptors will receive a daily fee of net Euro 120,00 (one hundred and twenty) per day for all 9 days of their stay (21st – 29th July 2012); The organization also offers food and lodging to the participating artists.
- The journey there and back has to be organized by the sculptors themselves. The Organization recognizes a contribution to the travelling expenses:
‐ Italy up to 50,00 Euro
‐ Europe up to 100,00 Euro
‐ Outside Europe up to 150,00 Euro
Sculptors coming from foreign countries must have an Italian taxpayer's code number in order to receive the daily fee and all possible contributions to the travelling expenses. For the issuing of the Italian taxpayer's code number, foreign sculptors must apply to the Italian Consulates of their country of residence.
