SCULPTURE COMPETITION - LUXEMBOURG

A municipality in Luxembourg announces this sculpture competition. The sculpture will be placed in a public place. The piece of art will have to combine the historical and natural aspects of the Commune and the region. The concept of the piece of art will have to be compatible with being exhibited in the open air and therefore resistant to the weather. A budget of Euro 15.000 will be made available to the winner of the competition, by the Municipality in order to cover the costs of the material, time and transport.
This sum will be paid in two parts:
50% at the beginning of the work
50% upon completion of the work
The municipality will support the artist for the emplacement of the sculpture by providing all the necessary labour and technical expertise from its own resources.
