WOOD SCULPTURE SYMPOSIUM - TURKEY

This 18th international wooden sculpture symposium will be held between the dates 01-19 July 2012 in a town of Turkey. The symposium does not contain special theme.
6 artists, including three Turkish and three foreigners, are going to attend to the symposium.
The material to be sculpted is the wood.(chestnut). The organization will provide for every artist max. two wood trunks of about 30 cm of diameter and 200 cm of height. Every participating sculptor will be paid 3000 Turkish Liras. The realized works will remain ownership of the organization and they will be installed in public places of the town. Transportation, accommodation and food are going to be paid by the organization for the participating artists. Every artists will have two assistants.
The symposium does not contain special theme.
