INTERNATIONAL STONE SCULPTURE SYMPOSIUM - TURKEY

This International Stone Sculpture Symposium is organized by an International Academy of Art and Culture and it will be held in a town of Turkey between the 20th of February to the 10th March, 2012. 6 international and 5 national artists will participate in the symposium. Marble will be used as a material for the sculpture. Each artist will be given a stone of 3 cubic metres. The main theme of the Symposium is “H2O Water Cycle”. Transportation, breakfast, lunch and dinner expenses of the artists attending the symposium will be paid by the organizer. Expenses belonging to the people who accompany the participators will be paid by the participants.
Each artist completing his/her work within the prescribed time will be paid 2.000 USD for the general expenses and copyright. The artists will bring their own hand tools. Equipments such as compressors, electricity, lifting jack and big tools will be provided by the symposium committee.
