ART WORK FOR A GYM - ITALY

An Italian institution wants to enrich a new gym with the introduction of an art work. The artist is called to propose an art work finalized to the embellishment of the zone before the parking. Such zone is open to the public passage and it includes two green areas in one of which they are present two great pipes for the air. The maximum weight that this zone can support is of 10 kn/mqs. The theme of the sculptures will have to recall the activities and the values tied up to the world of the sport. The work can be freely realized with any technique and selected material, provided that they will be compatible with the function of the building and that stability and durability is assured. There is a budget of Euro 65.200,00 to face all the expenses of realization and installation of the work. The jury can decide to correspond a prize for a maximum of two artists judged deserving, for the import of Euro 1.000,00. Italian or foreign artists that elect domicile in Italy can participate to the contest. A previous visit to the place of installation of the art work is not obligatory.
