PRIZE OF PLASTIC ARTS - SPAIN

A Spanish institution patronizes this International Prize Of plastic Arts that follows the artistic tradition and of patronage of this institution. All the artists, of any nationalities or residence can participate in this Contest. Every participant will have to introduce only one work of which he is the author, in any of the following disciplines: to) painting and its extensions, b) sculpture, c) photography and d) digital art, video, performance and artistic interventions. The introduced works will be of free theme, unpublished, original and not introduced to any other contest, exhibitions.
Works will have to gather the following technical requisites according to their formality of realization:
a) Painting: frame admitted only in the form of a wood bar of 2 to 3 cms of thickness.
b) Sculpture: In free format and with any subject, provided that it can be transported and manipulated without damaging its integrity. The sculptural works will have to be possibly reproduced on large scale for their installation in public spaces; the realization in this case will be responsibility of the organization.
c) Photography: Technique, support and format are free. Protective glass is not allowed, but a suitable protection will be necessary to avoid deteriorations.
d) digital Art, video, performances: any digital support that can be viewed and analyzed is admitted. The Prize is of Euro 60.000, distributed in the following way: 30.000 Euro for the winner that will also have the right to an individual exhibition and others 30.000 Euro for the acquisition of other works selected by the jury. The selected works, will belong to an exhibition (18 November - 11 December) and the catalog.
