1 INTERNATIONAL SCULPTURE SYMPOSIUM – MEXICO

The participation is open to artists of any nationality. The theme of the works should be "The god of India GANESH". Ganesh is the guardian of Muladhara, Kundalini the first door. The definitive art work will have to be realized in definitive material, appropriate for open air installation. The definitive sculpture will have a minimum size of 100 cm. and maximum 200 cm in its bigger side, without support, and should be easily manipulated, without machines. The participation to the competition is free and divided in two phases. For the first phase candidates will send a draft of their proposal. The jury will select 6 proposals to participate to the second phase. Selected artists will have to send a three dimensional model. The jury will select the winning works. Authors of the winning works will have to install their works that will remain property of the organizer.
The first prize is of Euro 30,000 pesos, the second prize is of 25,000 mx pesos and the third place will receive a total of 20,000 pesos.
