SCULPTURE EVENT - ITALY
 | The 12th edition of this sculpture event will take place from 23rd to 31st July 2011 with the participation of (four) sculptors that will be chosen by a qualified jury. The Artistic Projects must include the obligatory use of sandstone and at least another kind of material chosen by the artist. The Organization provides each sculptor with a block of sandstone, the size of which will be indicated in the Artistic Projects (max. 1,5 cubic metre). With regard to the other material/s included in the project, the sculptor can have an extra budget
of Euro 600,00 (VAT-inclusive) including purchase, transport, working and treatment charges.
The organization offfers to the particpating artists:
- food and lodging
- a daily fee of net € 120,00 (one hundred and twenty) per day for
all 9 days of their stay
- a contribution to the travelling expenses:
- Italy up to 50,00 Euro
- Europe up to 100,00 Euro
- Outside Europe up to 150,00 Euro
In order to receive the contribution, the sculptors must present valid expenses documents (ex. air tickets, train tickets, motorway receipts).
Sculptors coming from foreign countries must have an Italian taxpayer's code number in order to receive the daily fee and all possible contributions to the travelling expenses. For the issuing of the Italian taxpayer's code number, foreign sculptors must apply to the Italian Consulates of their country of residence.
All sculptures will remain at disposal of the Municipality.
