INTERNATIONAL WOOD SCULPTURE SYMPOSIUM - SIRIA

This international wood sculpture symposium will take place from 7-17 July 2011 in a town of Syria.
The material to be sculpted is: wood - tree trunk, of 1.50 - 2 meters. Diameter +\- 50 cm.
The organizer will provide an electric saw to each artist, in addition to small electrical machines. And 220 v of electric cables systems. Each participating artist will be paid an amount of 2000 $ dollars. Travel expenses are covered by the organizer for the artist. Accommodation expenses will be covered by the organizer.
The theme: will be simple figurative woman.
