GRANTS FOR INTERVENTIONS IN PUBLIC PLACES – SPAIN

A Spanish institution with the objective of promoting the creation of visual arts, announces the grants aimed at the production of artistic interventions in public spaces.
Art collectives and individual creators are eligible to participate in this announcement.
A maximum of six projects will be selected . Presented projects can be in the form of installations, sculptures, multimedia installations, projections, etc.
The artistic interventions will make up an exposition. The inaugurations will take place July 11th 2011 in a spanish town and will be documented in the catalog that will be edited after the exhibition.
Artists granted this scholarship will commit to reside on place to install the selected intervention in its final location.
Total amount of the grant: 3.000 Euro; distributed in the following way:
- production costs of up to 1.500 Euro per project.
- up to 1.500 Euro of the cost of the artist’s stay on place per project. In the case of art collectives, up to two people will be invited.
