INTERNATIONAL MEETING OF SCULPTURE - ARGENTINA
 | Deadline: April 15th 2011 This International Sculpture meeting will take place in a town of Argentina, from the 14 to the 22nd of May 2011. The works will have to be inspired by the pre-Columbian cultures. The organization will select 30 national sculptors and foreigners (18 national artists, 12 foreign artists and 3 local artists) for the participation to the event. The materials for the realization of the works will be furnished by the organization and they will be grey granite or white marble, wood and metal. Grey granite of irregular form. Autochtonous wood. Metal (iron discards or plates of 2 or 3 mms of thickness and dimensions cm. 300 x 150). The works will have to have a minimum height of 2 meters. The organization will furnish a covered work place of approximately 3 x 3 mt.. Electric energy at 220 V. The organization offers food and lodging and a small economic help to every participating sculptor at the end of the event: National artists: 1800 argentinian pesos International artists: 3000 argentinian pesos The organization doesn't pay for the plane tickets of arrival to the country. The sculptures that will be realized during the meeting will remain ownership of the organization and they will be installed in an Open Air Museum.
