AIESM - HAPPY NEW YEAR 2011– SUMMARY 2010
 | Dear members, AIESM wishes to all of You a new year, full of fantastic opportunities and enthusiastic realizations. Could our united energies always bring to open new walks for the art and the sculpture in 2011 and to help to spread a message of peace, solidarity and illuminated humanity on the whole planet! A special thank also goes in this occasion to our Managers and Agents that this year succeeded in organizing a sculpture symposium with AIESM in their country and in particular, we wish to thank: - Rakesh Agrawal, AIESM Manager in India, organizer of a bronze sculpture symposium at the Uttarayan Art Foundation in Baroda, India, on January 2010. - Miguel Hernandez Urban, AIESM Manager in Mexico, organizer of a stainless steel sculpture symposium in the city of Tultepec Mexico on March 2010 and of the permanent retrospective exhibition about 19 continuous years of international sculptural realizations in Mexico at the “PARQUE BICENTENARIO” situated in Metepec, State of Mexico. ( more than 100 sculptures in exhibition) - Dominique Renaud, AIESM agent in France, organizer of a wood sculpture symposium in the city of Mirecourt Vosges (F) on July 2010. - Florence Hoffmann, AIESM Manager in Luxemburg, organizer of the Gare Art Festival, symposium of sculptures in aluminum in Luxemburg on August 2010. - Francisco Castro Lostalo, AIESM Agent in Canada, organizer of the sculpture symposium in recycled marble "Spirit of Diversity" in Toronto, Canada on August 2010. - Valentina Dusavitskaya, AIESM Manager of in Russia, organizer of the third International Sculpture Symposium in wood, steel and marble "AUTUMN INSPIRATION" in Penza, Russia on September 2010. About 77 sculptors have been invited to take part to these symposiums. A particular thanks also goes to those Managers and Agents that put their efforts in the attempt to organize an event in their own Country this year and that for various reasons have been cancelled or postponed. We would like to thank in particolar: - Saravudth Duanjumpa, AIESM Manager in Thailand that tried last April to organize a symposium of sculpture in polistirene in the city of Nakon Ratchasima, Thailand, cancelled for the political revolts in progress in that period in the Country. - Lelè Trabb, AIESM Manager in Argentina that tried to organize a marble sculpture symposium in the thermal city Rio Hondo in Santiago del Estero, Argentina that has been cancelled for political reasons. - Marcos Guimaraes, AIESM Agent in Brazil that tried to organize a stainless steel sculpture symposium in the city of Valinhos, San Paolo, in homage to the figure of Adoniram Barbosa, postponed to the year 2011 for insufficiency of funds. Thanks to all of you for your efforts and your energy. Since few months, the new web page of the association is on line, completely renewed in the graphic design and with the addition of new services, like a section and a newsletter devoted to the publicity of the most important on going sculpture exhibitions in the world and of the exhibitions of the sculptors members. Thanks to the common efforts and its activity of promotion, AIESM also succeeded this year in notably widening its net of contacts and presence worldwide. During 2010, 93 new members from different countries joined our family of artists, while the most part of the past members renewed its trust in our group. In 2010, it has been named also a new Manager for Sweden, the sculptor Lukas Arons. Our group currently gathers more than 300 professional sculptors of different nationality with an high-level work especially about the monumental public sculpture and it is represented in 25 countries by 26 Managers and 13 agents. Thanks to its activities of publication (bulletin and Newsletter about competitions of sculpture worldwide), to the organization of sculpture events in different countries, to the amplification of the net of contacts, AIESM , therefore, confirmed itself in 2010 as one of the most alive realities in the promotion of the sculpture worldwide. For this, AIESM wishes to thank all those who believed and believe in its ideal and all the artists Members for their trust and their support. Our principal worry and undertaking for 2011, will continue to be offering more and more opportunities and support to our artists and to the world of the sculpture. Happy new year!!!!
