WORKS FOR BARRACKSES OF THE RANGERS - ITALY
 | Deadline: October 05 th 2010 An Italian institutions announces a contest for the ordination of artistic works to be installed at various barrackses of the rangers. Italian artists or foregneirs that will give as reference a domicile in Italy can partecipate to the contest. Works in contest: ART WORK N.1 Bas-relief in stone with insertion of mosaic; the work will have to have the dimensions of 2,00 m of base and 1,00 m of height and it must be mounted on a special pedestal in metal.The symbolic meaning of the work will have to recall the activity of the rangers. The total remuneration is of Euro 20.200,00. ART WORK N. 2 An oil painting with free theme of the dimensions of 0,80 m of base and 0,60 m of height. The theme is free. The general remuneration is of Euro1.500,00. ART WORK N. 3 Bas-relief in third fire ceramics. The work will have to have the dimensions of 3,40 m of base and 1,50 m of height. The work will have to be framed and anchored to wall with fit wedges. The symbolic meaning of the work will have to recall the activity proper of the rangers. The total remuneration is of Euro 25.400,00. ART WORK N. 4 Two oil paintings with free theme of the dimensions of 1,00 m of base and 1,00 of height. The theme is free and the two works will beo f the same author. The total remuneration is of Euro 5.000,00. ART WORK N. 5 Two works in mosaic. Each of the two works will have to have the dimensions of 1,00 m of base and 1,20 m of height included possible frames. The symbolic meaning of the works will have to recall the activity proper of the rangers; the works will be of the same author and they will have to introduce continuity in the expressive language and interpretation of the theme The total remuneration is of Euro 14.000,00. The competitors interested to the realization of the bas-reliefs and the mosaic works will have to obligatorily effect a visit of the places where the works will be installed. In the first phase of the contest, you don’t need to send a concrete proposal, but just an expression of interest. A jury will select for every work in contest, a number of artists (or artists' groups) not superior to 6 and not inferior to 3, that will be invited to introduce a model of the work or the real work. In the second phase, the jury will choose a winner for every work in contest.
