PRIZE OF CERAMIC ART - ITALY

A municipality in Italy, announces and organize a competition of ceramics of contemporary art reserved to the young artists. A special jury will select n. 3 ceramic works. The following 3 purchase prizes will be assigned to the authors of the selected works.
1º classified: Euro 3.000,00 ( gross)
2º classified: Euro 2.000,00 ( gross)
3º classified: Euro 1.000,00 ( gross)
The contest is destined to the artists ceramists of 40 years of age maximum at the date of December 31st 2009. The contest has no special theme. Every competitor can introduce max. three works. The execution of the works is admitted with any ceramic technique. The works can foresee the use of other materials, but not in prevailing way. The works directly drawn by the traditional ceramics are excluded. Works of personal and original interpretation of the traditional ceramics are admitted. The participants have to declare that the introduced works are of their ownership. The participation is free.
