2 INTERNATIONAL SCULPTURE SYMPOSIUM – FRANCE

This 2nd International Symposium of Sculptures will take place in a town of France from the 21st of June to the 4th of July 2010. There is no theme fixed.
All styles of projects can be proposed.
In general, all materials are possible within the limit of the symposium's possibilities, with a preference for wood and steel. Different materials can be combined.
Each artist can present up to 2 projects.
The organization will provide the artists the materials which they need as well as the basic tools (welding/cutting..., electricity: 220 V).
For this, artists must give the most complete list of their needs. The participants will bring with them their own tools for finishing. In general, each artist works by his own but a specific help will be assured.
The organization offers food and lodging for all the symposium’s duration and between 1000 and 2000 Euro, according to their distance of origin as refund of the travel expenses.
6 artist will be chosen to participate. The completed work then becomes the property of the organizing city.. Cards (format A 4) on each participant or a catalogue will be published, five specimens offered to the participating artists.
A press review will be sent to each participant.
