ART PROGRAM - BELGIUM

An artist-in-residence program seeks applicants from territories whose past is shaped by overlapping cultural references and conditions, whose present is tainted by overwhelming violence, and whose future is unpredictable. They will form a year-long artistic working group to jointly develop and implement a proposal that will be made public in the form of a live event such as a conference, festival, exhibition, or other event.
The organization provides each participant with a grant of $6,000 to use at their discretion, covers travel expenses for the retreat, and provides a budget for the public event.
