A Sculpture Symposium is organized by the City Council of a spanish town, from 15-29 October 2023.
Participation
Open to national and international artists over 18. The organization will select 3 artists to execute their proposals.
Thematic
The theme of the symposium is: MACHINE AND TIME
Material / Tools / Accommodation
The limestone blocks will be provided by the Organization (maximum size of 150 cm on their major axis).
The lodging and board of each of the selected will be borne by the Organization.
Free transport will be organized for sculptors from the nearest airports, as well as from the AVE station.
Travel expenses from the place of origin will be borne by the artists.
Each sculptor will have access to electricity (220 V), they will also have an air compressor available. The Organization will provide them with all the mechanical tools necessary for the ealaboration of the different sculptural works, being in charge of l@s artists the different types of chisels, gradinas and cutting discs.
Remuneration and services of the organization
Each artist will receive the amount of 2000€ for the finished work.
