STONE SCULPTURE SYMPOSIUM - ITALY

A stone sculpture symposium will take place at a Sicilian location from 1 to 22 May 2022, all artists are invited to participate by sending their application.
During the construction period, the public will have the opportunity to follow the progress of the works. Interaction activities between artists and the public are foreseen.
Symposium theme: "Traditional Spanish figures and costumes of the nineteenth century"
The organization will provide:
- the material (local stone with dimensions of 250x80x80 cm)
- electric current, extensions, compressed air
- accommodation and meals and partial reimbursement of travel expenses (up to € 300)
- a fee of € 2,500 to each artist for the realization of the work.
The selection will be published shortly after March 30, 2022.
