FIRE FESTIVAL - LUXEMBOURG

A city in Luxembourg, in collaboration with AIESM, is organizing a "Festival of Fire" which will take place from 29 February to 4 March 2022.
This symposium brings together eight artists from Luxembourg and around the world. Artists are invited to make sculptures in wood and straw, from February 29 to March 4, 2022. These sculptures will be set on fire along with traditional pyres on Sunday, March 6, 2022.
Selection: 8 artists will be selected by the jury on the basis of the application dossier, to be sent by November 26, 2021, 24.00.
The theme is free.
Dimensions of the work: maximum height 6 m.
Fees: € 5,000.00 TTC / artist, which will be paid at the end of the festival.
Travel refund: the artist undertakes to travel with the cheapest means possible. Compensation: maximum € 1,000 for international flights, maximum € 400 for travel by train or car.
Meals: Lunch and dinner are offered only to selected artists.
Accommodation in a nearby hotel: single room with shower and toilet, from the artist's arrival date until Sunday 6 March 2022 included.
