ARTIST IN RESIDENCE - GERMANY

An art institute in Germany offers residential scholarships for international artists, scholars, scientists, as well as cultural and business professionals who are under the age of 40.
The residency time will last from 2022 to 2023, the scholarships usually cover 6, 9 or 12 months.
Residence information
The residency is open to artists of the following disciplines:
- Visual arts and media including painting, sculpture, drawing, installation, film, video, print, ceramic, textiles, performance,
- Music and performing arts,
- Digital,
- Architecture and design,
- Literature and language
- Art, science and business / human sciences, social, natural and economic sciences
Fellows can use the Akademie's carpentry and metal workshops under supervision.
They also have access to a digital film editing studio, a print and copy room, 2 small libraries and several workstations.
The scholarship includes:
- a living room / working studio free of charge and furnished with electricity, water and heating,
- a monthly grant of € 1,200,
- travel expenses for arrival and departure (one-off).
