INTERNATIONAL SCULPTURE SYMPOSIUM - ESTONIA

A Wood Sculpture, Land-Art, Ready-Made Symposium will be held in an Estonian location from 8 to 12 June 2021.
The Symposium is aimed at artists living and working in the European Union and aims to compose natural forms so that they become a work of art, while human intervention (cutting, modeling) could be minimal in the creation of works.
Up to 8 artists will be selected.
Concept
The artworks made during the event should be used as benches or as light objects placed in the park of the visitor center.
Each participant should choose the subject and create the artwork that comes closest to the concept of nature.
Material
The artists will be equipped with these materials: thick wooden stems, branches, stones.
Participants will be able to look for materials from the forest for their works of art.
There are no restrictions on the materials found. The artist can compose the work from different parts and materials.
Room and board
The organizer will take care of the accommodation and food during the event.
Artists' fees
Each participant receives 600 euros
Travel expenses: reimbursed according to the area of origin.
