A program for an artist residency in Belgium accepts applications for the year 2021..
The residence is characterized by the provision, two months a year, of a house to an artist, chosen by a selection committee.
The goal is to provide a favorable place for work, research and meetings.
General conditions of residence
In 2021, the residence will be 8 weeks, from February 1 to March 28.
There are no nationality restrictions.
There is no age limit.
The artist will be hosted in a 120 sqm house consisting of living room / kitchen, two bedrooms, roof terrace, bathroom, laundry and garage.
The house is located in Watermael-Boitsfort, 4 km from the center of Brussels.
Financial conditions
The artist will be paid a production aid of 1,500 euros. Furthermore, the cost of the trip may be reimbursed, in whole or in part, depending on the artist's place of residence.
