INTERNATIONAL SCULPTURE SYMPOSIUM - IRAN

An International Sculpture Symposium will be held in an Iranian city and will take place from February 19th to March 12th 2021.
Materials
Each selected artist will be provided with a total of 2.5-3 cubic meters of light marble. Base excluded.
Artists can add a second material (iron) up to 10% of the volume of their proposed stone.
All production steps for the stone part must be completed by the artist.
Work
The symposium will provide each artist with a grinder, a mini grinder (available in local stores), a cutting disc and a grinding wheel (one each).
Artists can bring other personal tools they need.
There will be a crane in the work area that can be used after notifying the site manager.
The selection will be organized in two phases.
All the artists selected in the first phase will receive 70 million rials as a contribution to the creation of the model.
The artists selected in the second phase receive 400 million rials at the end of the event and only if they complete their work.
