A French cultural association organizes a biennial art festival and invites all artists to apply for the connected residence.
The artistic committee will select four artists for a 10-day residence period from Friday 25 September to Sunday 4 October inclusive to create a work intended for an external location, in the woods and trails of the Pyrenees.
The last three days of the artistic residency will be aimed at the performance of the festival with the exhibition of the works created both as installation, as performance, ephemeral art or, on the contrary, lasting works, destined to remain on their place of creation until they deteriorate.
Administrative and financial conditions
Each artist is given a lump sum of € 1000 for the 10 days of residence - materials and tools are charged by the artist.
The association will cover the artist's travel expenses up to € 400, upon presentation of a travel expense. For foreign artists.
Accommodation and catering will be borne by the organizers.
