ARTIST IN RESIDENCE – FRANCE

A cultural association organizes an artistic residence of monumental marble sculpture in a French town from May to June 2020.
Theme: "Mediterranean mythology"
4 professional artists who work in the field of marble sculpture will be selected to create a sculpture during a period of 5 weeks.
This program is open to all French or foreign artists, regardless of age, who are proficient in the oral use of French and / or English and possess a driving license for light vehicles valid in France.
Activities: 75% of the time will be reserved for the creation itself and 25% of the didactic activities, mediations, interventions, conferences, meetings with the public.
The organization provides room and board, and a fee of € 7000 to each artist.
