WOOD SCULPTURE FESTIVAL - RUSSIA

A childhood organization promotes an International Festival of wooden sculpture in Russia. The festival will take place from 7th to 17th May 2020.
Theme of the Festival - " Both wood and valley are teeming there with wondrous things"
At least 30 groups of artists (no more than 2 persons for team) will be invited on the basis of preliminary selection of sketches and portfolios.
Organizer provides:
- travel expense
- Free accommodation
- Free meals during the event.;
- Angara pine or cedar (logs of at least 4 meters and a diameter of 0.6 to 0.9 meters;
- A set of tools for rough machining: an ax, a shovel, the possibility of rough sharpening tools;
- working space provided with 220 volts.
- gasoline, lubricants and motor oils;
- as well as the provision of a visit to the sauna and a single wash work clothes.
Awards:
- 1 place - award amounting to 200 000tys. rubles and the prize diploma
- 2 place - award amounting to 150 000tys. rubles and the prize diploma
- 3 place - award amounting to 100 000tys. rubles and the prize diploma
- further awards will be assigned
