CALL FOR ARTISTIC PROJECT - BELGIUM

An organization for Belgian tourism organizes a sculpture event aimed at creating 6 sculptural works that will embellish six nearby locations. The event will take place from 21 to 31 May 2020.
The works
The project consists of creating a work of art outdoors in a ring walk located in the countryside or in a town / village. The project must be created on site during the 10-day event.
All types of resistant materials are authorized. In the case of wood, priority is given to local varieties.
Installations should have an estimated duration of at least 4 years.
The organizers will provide the necessary materials.
Financial terms and conditions
- Individual artists or groups will receive the sum of 1,250 euros including VAT.
- Travel costs will be reimbursed up to a limit of € 250 (flight, train fare, etc.).
Tools
Artists should bring their own tools to do the work, but some will be available for artists who request them in advance.
Food and Accommodation
The artists will be hosted by family accommodation or residences during the event, and will be given free meals.
