SNOW SCULPTURE CONTEST - ITALY

A Tourist Association is organizing an international snow sculpture competition which will be held from 12th to 17th January 2020 in Italy.
Open to all artists regardless of age, sex or nationality. The purpose is to design a sculpture from a block of snow of 3 x 3 x 3 m at an altitude of 2,500 m.
Artists can compete with a team. The 10 participating teams may consist of a maximum of 2 people. Also allowed groups of students (2 pers.) Accompanied by an adult teacher to participate.
The organization will provide blocks of snow (3 x3 x3 m) on January 12, 2020.
In addition, the organization will provide free of charge to the participants:
- Room and board from 12th to 17th January 2020.
- Reimbursement of travel expenses: for all participating teams will be provided a contribution of € 0.15 (net) per km up to a maximum of 210 € (net) per team (Europe) or 400 € (net) for countries outside Europe.
All sculptures will be judged by a panel of judges who will award the following prizes at the end of the event:
1st Prize € 700.00
2nd prize: € 550.00
3rd prize: € 400.00
4 Prize: 300,00 €
5 Prize: €250.00
6 Prize: € 200.00
